Endpaper

Delete your account

Last updated · August 21, 2026

Your notebook is yours, and you can erase it at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, which is immediate, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

App name: Endpaper · Developer: Kavana Anand · Package: com.kavana.endpaper

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

  1. Open Endpaper and tap the account icon in the top right.
  2. Scroll to Your data and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your notebook and account are erased right away.

This happens immediately and cannot be undone. There is no waiting period and no recovery window, so please be sure before you confirm.

Option 2 — by email

If you have already uninstalled the app, email privacy@endpaperapp.com from the email address you used to sign in, with the subject “Delete my account”. Sending from the account's own address is how we confirm the request is really yours — we will not action a deletion request that arrives from a different address.

We complete these within 30 days, and usually much sooner. You will get a reply confirming when it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is permanently erased:

DataWhat happens
Restaurants you have savedPermanently deleted
Visits, dishes, notes, and ratingsPermanently deleted
Preferences learned from your visitsPermanently deleted
Search embeddings built from your notesPermanently deleted
Your account record and email addressPermanently deleted

No backup copy of your notebook is retained on our side.

What we keep, and why

Two things outlive the deletion, and neither can identify or contact you:

One caveat worth stating plainly. Deleting in the app erases your notebook first, then removes your sign-in identity from our authentication provider. That second step is best-effort — in rare cases it can fail while your notebook is already gone. If you want certainty that the sign-in record is gone too, email privacy@endpaperapp.com and we will confirm it by hand.
